As the official kick-off event for Wilmington's social season, the Founders' Gala has become the premiere black tie event in the area. Last year's Evening in the Kasbah transformed a tent at the Figure Eight Island Yacht Club into an exotic Moroccan adventure for our 600 guests.

This year's Founders' Gala was held January 26th, 2008 at a TidalWalk- A Seaside Community, along the Intracoastal Waterway where our area's finest chefs expanded their epicurean talents to highlight the evening experience "Fantasy Island- An Night in the South Pacific."

Attendees included the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Foundation family of physicians, managed care partners, corporate business partners, and donors as well as community leaders.
